Got to say this site is awesome all the patches from all the past years for summer camp winder camp and all the camporee patch pictures are all awesome I remember my first year to camp hinds back in 2007. It was pretty much the best week of my life. I also liked doing NYLT and Cope day in 2010 ,Can't wait to go back in the summer of 2011!

Although I was a staffer on the Cub Scout weekends, I really enjoyed my time there. It is a great place for the scout of all ages to go and learn. I was glad when I saw Dean talking about this page and I came to look. He also found 3 plaques with my (and other staffers) names on them which brings back a lot of fun times. Not only did I work there, I did my Polar Bear badges at the house and the beginning of the road with T39 out of Scarborough. Thanks for all the work you have done for this site Mr. Z!!! It is much appreciated!

While running the radio station at the recent National Jamboree I was visited by several fellow Camp Hinds alums and was thrilled to see them all!!! Bob LaFlamme(CD in 85) is still Scouting in Mass., Bruce Rueger and son, Andrew ("Road Warrier" are of course very involved in PTC, Scott Valcourt was Lodge Chief/Section chief when I was staff advisor to both, Paul Conley was also a Lodge Advisor and they both kindly dropped by. I was able to help Luc Caron and members of Troop 160 into the Jambo when the gates had been closed and was happy to do that!! Former professional staff members Marc Richardson and Eric Magendantz also came by. It was wonderful to see them all!!!

It's nice to be back home in Maine after a 12-year stint in Tennessee! We're still looking for home and once we know what town we'll be living in, I'll know what District to volunteer my time and energies in! However, regardless of District, I'd love to get involved with Hinds again....its a place very dear to my heart.
